Since april 15th, 2014, I am detached at University of Okayama as Senior University Research Administrator.
Born in Aix-les-Bains in1956.
Master in Physics at the Joseph Fourier University in Grenoble in 1979. Joined CNRS in 1985 and then prepared at Laue-Langevin Institute, a “doctorat d'Etat" in Physics presented at Joseph Fourier University in 1990 ("Analysis of magnetic structures of a series of 3d and 4d transition metal pnictides -- As and P --").
Moved from 1990 for 2 years at National Research Institute for Metals (since then NRIM was merged into NIMS) at Tsukuba (Japan) : structural properties of high-Tc superconducting materials of the Bi cuprates series by HREM.
In 1992 returned to LMGP located in Saint Martin d'Heres at that time and developed activities of in-depth understanding of structural properties of materials such as metal silicides for microelectronics interconnects, gas sensors (see keywords). Started to be involved in the laboratory management team from 2003.
Present and recent involments :
ANR MOON (see anrmoon.fr) : analysis of first stages of MOCVD or ALD growth of oxide nanomaterials
Ni-Si nanodots for Si nanowires growth (R. Madar and E. Sarigiannidou collaborations)
Materials for nano/micro electronics : interconnect materials
Materials for electrical sensing of bio-molecules or polluting gaseous molecules
Structural characterization methods using X-ray beams and electron microscopy
