My scientific interest area is functional oxides and new emerging phenomena at the micro and nano scales – resistive switching (memristive devices), domain walls in ferroic oxides (ferroelectric, conductive, charged domain walls), polar nano-regions (in ferroelectric-relaxors and related materials), high strain piezoelectrics (artificial creation of morphotropic phase boundaries) and other correlated electron phenomena.
